Patient Questions
IV Therapy Questions, Answered
The questions patients ask most before their first drip.
How long does an IV therapy session take?
Most sessions run 45 to 60 minutes depending on the drip you choose. You relax in a comfortable, spa-like setting the entire time — there is no downtime afterward.
Why is IV therapy more effective than oral supplements?
IV delivery provides 100% bioavailability. Nutrients bypass the digestive system entirely and are absorbed directly into the bloodstream for immediate cellular uptake, while oral supplements lose a significant portion of their potency through digestion.
Do I need an appointment for IV therapy?
Yes. All IV therapy sessions are by scheduled appointment only. Please reserve your session in advance through our booking link — walk-ins are not accepted for IV therapy.
What can I add to my drip?
Most drips can be customized with injectables such as B12, glutathione, NAD+, vitamin C, magnesium, Toradol, Zofran, zinc, biotin and L-carnitine. Your provider confirms what is safe to combine with your drip at your intake review.
Who should not get IV therapy?
Every patient needs a medical history review and clinical consultation with a licensed provider first. Certain conditions require extra care or are contraindications, including renal insufficiency, congestive heart failure, G6PD deficiency and known reactions to infusion ingredients. IV therapy is not a substitute for emergency medical care.
How much does IV therapy cost, and do you take insurance?
Drips range from $160 to $250, and add-ons are priced separately. Premier Regenerative Medicine is a cash-pay clinic, so insurance is not billed — you will know the full cost of your session before it starts.
Where exactly is the IV lounge?
